SUMMARY:BARK in the PARK Pet Festival
DESCRIPTION:We are a fundraising / educational festival which also promotes local businesses and community organizations. This year will be our 3rd Annual BARK in the PARK Pet Festival and this year we are proud to be hosting it in Orono\, a small town in Clarington\, Ontario best known for the Orono Fair. \nWe will be welcoming over 120 vendors & animal rescue groups this year and attendance is again expected to top 5\,000 guests with their pets. This is an ideal avenue to promote pet products both tried and true as well as products and services that are new to the industry and forthcoming trends. \nGames\, Food\, Amazing Vendors\, Samples\, Splash Pools\, Swag Bags\, Rescue Groups\, Contests\, Demonstrations\, Lure Course\, Caricature Artist\, Photo Booth\, Agility\, Prizes\, Fashion Show\, Silly Pet Tricks\, Entertainment\, Shopping and so much more… Bring your dog(s)! \nAdmission:\n$ 5 Adult (over 18 yrs.old)\n$ 10 Family Pass (2 adults\, 2 kids 12 to 18 years old)\n*Kids 12 and under FREE*\nOver 120 Vendors\n5.000+ guests expected to attend \nAdditional Information\nWe are not an expo or impersonal trade show – we are a grass roots event whereby the community comes together to support businesses that we promote and educate each other in a supportive way for the betterment of our pets and families in general. \nProceeds raised from this event supports three ongoing projects: \n1.Biggie & Frank’s Pet Food Bank Providing temporary pet food assistance to those in the Durham Region & Beyond. We also operate a mobile pet food bank which goes out into the communities where it is needed most to provide pet food and everyday essentials to people experiencing financial hardship. We also sort\, bag and deliver pet food and litter to local shelters and soup kitchens providing easy access for those with pets that are utilizing those services. \n2. Apple Melon Designs Providing FREE ID Tags to rescue groups for animals in foster care / transit before they are chipped or adopted. This ensures that should an animal get lost or bolt during transit the rescue can be contacted quickly when the animal is found. \n3. Providing FREE dog waste bags to the local off leash park in Clarington. \nSo you see\, there is much good that happens as a result of this little pet festival and we intend to do even more this coming summer and fall implementing a full service brick and mortar Pet Food Bank / People Food Bank and Soup Kitchen. This will allow us to bring the services needed to the people and pets that will benefit the most. \nYour support goes a long way in helping us provide the necessary items we need to bring an excellent event to those in attendance\, both vendors and the guests and have them in turn supporting the businesses and groups who lend us their support in one way or another. It’s a win/ win for all involved.
